Spring Cheese and Wine

Come and see what’s new and take the opportunity to taste something you might not otherwise try – you might discover a new favourite. Dramatic landscapes, windswept archipelagos and active volcanoes: islands have some of the most distinctive terroirs in the winemaking world and produce vibrant, expressive and uniquely delicious wines. We’ll be exploring wines from Sardinia, Sicily, the Canary Islands and more in a joyful journey through a few of our favourite island wines. We’ll tuck in to a selection cheese from islands and the shores beyond.

All Greek

Experience the exciting wines of Greece in this guided tasting. We’ll journey from the sun-soaked islands to the mountainous mainland as we explore Greece’s winemaking traditions and native grape varieties through a selection of expressive whites and characterful reds. We’ll enjoy plenty of cheese alongside, including a couple of Greek cheeses for the occasion.
The Big Summer Party

Join us for our annual summer celebration when we throw a party the only way we know how: with cheese and wine. There will be free tastings all day of summery wines and delicious cheese from our cellars. For cheese-loving children there is the chance to collect stamps by trying different styles of cheese. And you can watch our cheesemongers open up a big wheel of cheese! We will announce more nearer the time, and cross our fingers for a sunny day so that we can enjoy a glass together outside the shop.
