We can also accommodate private parties. Our tastings make for a fun evening, whether you’re entertaining a potential client, treating your colleagues or celebrating a loved one’s birthday. Please do get in touch for further information.
jura wine and mountain cheese

Join us for an evening exploring the delicious and very distinctive wines of the Jura. This tiny region in the east of France, sandwiched between Burgundy and Switzerland, is a land of mountains, woods and natural lakes. It is home to indigenous grape varieties and unique wine styles that not only delight wine lovers but pair beautifully with the alpine cheeses made in the surrounding area: think Comté and Mont d’Or. We’ll taste six Jura wines together and enjoy cheese from the region and beyond.

Join us for an evening exploring the world-famous wines of Piedmont. This picturesque spot, in the foothills of the Alps in north-western Italy, is home to some of the country’s most delicious gastronomic offerings, from pasta to truffle to hazelnuts – but its wine is the jewel in its crown. Barbera, Barbaresco, Barolo: the classic wines from the region offer immense enjoyment and we’ll be pulling out some special bottles for an insight into how these wines can age. We’ll taste six Piedmontese wines together and enjoy some delicious cheese alongside, from the region and beyond.

Drop in for an informal walk-around tasting where we’ll guide you through eight wines that are perfect for the arrival of spring. Come and see what’s new and take the opportunity to taste something you might not otherwise try – you might discover a new favourite. We’ll bring a selection of delicious cheese up from our cellars for you to enjoy alongside.
Beaujolais: nouveau and beyond

The third Thursday of November is an exciting date for wine lovers: le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé! Come and crack open a few bottles of this young, lively red wine with us to celebrate the new vintage. Explore beyond the new too, with a mini tasting of three other Beaujolais Crus from the region, alongside a selection of cheese.
